DerbaTech Solutions Pvt. Ltd.(“DerbaTech”, “we”, “us”) is an AI engineering company based in Hyderabad, India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We are committed to handling your data lawfully and transparently, including under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”).

Information we collect

We keep data collection to a minimum. We collect:

• Information you provide: when you use our contact form or email us, the details you choose to share — typically your name, work email, company and the message about your project. Our contact form opens your own email client and sends the message directly to hello@derbatech.com; it is not stored in a server-side database by this website.
• Technical data: our hosting infrastructure may process standard server logs (such as IP address, user-agent and requested URL) for security, abuse prevention and reliability. These logs are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
• Preferences: your light/dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser (local storage). It never leaves your device and is not personal data.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking scripts on this website.

How and why we use your data

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry, scope potential work, and communicate with you about an engagement. Our lawful basis under the DPDP Act is your consent (given when you contact us) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell your personal data or use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Sharing and processors

We do not share your personal data with third parties except trusted service providers that help us operate — for example our email provider and hosting infrastructure — and only to the extent necessary. Where required, such providers act as data processors under appropriate safeguards. We may disclose data if compelled by law or to protect our rights.

Data retention

We retain enquiry correspondence only for as long as needed to serve the purpose it was collected for and to meet legal or accounting obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act and applicable law, you may:

• access the personal data we hold about you and request a summary of its processing;
• request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• request erasure of your data where it is no longer required;
• withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect prior lawful processing);
• nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
• raise a grievance with us and, if unsatisfied, with the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and least-privilege practices — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration or loss. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
